  1. Absolutely incredible!

Martha speaks to the children in a thoughtful, connected, deep way that allows them to express both their creativity and earnest thoughts about the earth.
If any teacher is on the fence about attending this workshop, book now! Session comes complete with post-workshop activities and ways to continue the discussion in your class.

    Brilliant!

    1. Thanks, Jill, I really enjoyed working with your Upper Class Montessori students. They were very engaged as they worked with my materials to create dioramas that were important and meaningful to them.

  2. I couldn’t recommend this workshop more as there are so many opportunities for children to learn through play. My grade 4/5 students (as shown in the CityNews video) were so engaged and thoughtful as they worked with Martha’s beautiful miniature materials to create dioramas based on themes such as housing, food security, the environment, animal welfare and belonging. Her workshop gave students a chance to express their concerns about our world and consider solutions as they worked creatively in a collaborative, no pressure environment. They left the workshop with 22 gorgeous diorama photographs which were the catalyst to continue the discussion at length in class. If you’re looking for a unique and meaningful field trip I highly recommend this one!

    1. Thanks, Laura! It was really great to work with your class. You had many ESL students and they were able to engage and create thoughtful dioramas working just with the visuals and physical materials. (I’m also glad the parents’ response to seeing their kids on CityNews was so positive!)

  3. My Grade 3/4 students were completely engaged and remarkably thoughtful all through this incredible workshop. They selected from among Martha’s exquisite miniature materials to construct stunning dioramas and make meaning centered on six crucial themes. The resulting 24 photographs served as a powerful catalyst for in-depth class discussions. Martha even geared a portion of her workshop to my current Science units to enhance Curriculum connections!
